Wherry Cottage enjoys the prime position on the exclusive Peninsula Cottage Estate.  From the moment you arrive at the front door you will know that you have arrived at the best position within the Peninsula Cottages in the very heart of Wroxham, Capital of the Norfolk Broads (Now  the latest National Park). Wherry Cottage is a 2-bedroom (double and twin) riverside cottage with river views from all rooms. Private parking space within secure car park: (possible parking for 3 cars). With gardens on 3 sides it offers free fishing from right outside the door, and has a private 45ft x 12ft mooring for your own or hired day-boat. The kitchen has just been refurbished with new air fryer and microwave oven (for 2025) with a stainless steel electric oven, grill and ceramic glass hob with extractor hood over. The living room has 2 x 2-seat sofas and a Leather arm chair. The living room boasts a brand new electric coal effect fire with hearth surround.  32" Freeview TV / DVD. Free high speed WiFi. The twin room has 2 full size single beds suitable for adults or children. Both bedrooms have Freeview TV / DVD. All rooms have wall-mounted thermostatically controlled convector heaters. All electric, hot water, heating and cleaning is included, so there are no hidden extras, and beds are made up for your arrival. See below for details of each room.  We even include a simple refreshment welcome pack, and with little extras for our valuable returning guests.

The kitchen features a brand new state-of-the-art stainless steel electric cooker with oven, grill and hob, Matching kettle and 4-rack toaster. A microwave oven and all you need for self-catering, completes the kitchen. Breakfast bar / dining table and 4 chairs.

Living Room

The living room has river views from 2 aspects with the best views of all the Peninsula Cottages. Relax in the 2 x leather arm-chairs or sofa-bed (for that extra drop-in guest) and enjoy the 32" Freeview TV / DVD.  Heating is by wall-mounted thermostatically controlled convector radiator and radiant electric bar fire loved by our winter fishermen.

Outside

The double-glazed French doors open onto your covered South-East facing private terrace for morning breakfast in the Sun and afternoon or evening Bar-B-Q's at your private picnic table in the garden, which wraps around 3 sides of the cottage.

Bathroom

A modern white bathroom suite comprises a full size bath with electric shower over, pedestal wash basin, close-coupled w.c. and mirror with shaving point.

Double Bedroom

This very large double bedroom offers room for a baby's cot, and has  a walk-in wardrobe, large chest of drawers, dressing table and stool, and river views from 2 aspects. There is also a 19" Freeview TV / DVD and wicker chair.

Twin Bedroom

The twin room enjoys a direct view of Wroxham Bridge and across the river. It has 2 x full size single beds for adults or children.  There is a walk-in wardrobe and dressing table with stool.
