Albion Cottage enjoys a prime position on the exclusive Peninsula Cottage Estate.  Enjoy breakfast from it's South-East facing covered veranda terrace with views directly across and along the river. With gardens on 2 sides it offers free fishing from right outside the door and has river views from all rooms, and a private 45ft x 12ft mooring for your own or hired day-boat right outside the door. Private parking space within secure car park: (possible parking for up to 3 cars). Albion Cottage is a 2-bedroom (double and twin) riverside cottage with river views from all rooms. Enjoy the completely refurbished bathroom for the 2020 season with a walk-in shower cubicle and bathroom suite. The kitchen has a brand new (2005) air fryer, new )2005) microwave, recent stainless steel electric double oven, grill and ceramic glass hob, The living room has 2 x twin sofas, single leather arm chair, new coal-effect electric fire, 32" Freeview TV / DVD and free high speed Full Fibre WiFi. The double bedroom has full-size double bed, wardrobe with drawers and mirror, and has excellent views along the river.  The twin room has 2 full-size single beds suitable for adults or children, with new (2004) mattresses. River view. Both bedrooms have Freeview TV / DVD. All rooms have wall-mounted thermostatically controlled convector heaters. All electric, hot water, heating and cleaning is included, so there are no hidden extras, and beds are made up for your arrival, with a welcome refreshment and kitchen pack for after a long journey. See below for details of each room.  Enjoy a simple refreshment welcome pack, and with little extras for our valuable returning guests. A 5-10 minute stroll will take you into the main town centre with all the shops, restaurants , pubs and bars, supermarket and everything you need for self-catering.

The kitchen features a brand new state-of-the-art stainless steel electric cooker with double oven, grill and glass ceramic hob, Matching kettle and 4-rack toaster. A microwave oven, air fryer,  fridge and all you need for self-catering completes the kitchen. Breakfast bar / dining table and 4 chairs.

Living Room

 The living room has river views from the French doors, with some of the best views of all the Peninsula Cottages. Relax on the 2 x two-seat sofas and enjoy the 32" Freeview TV / DVD.  Heating is by wall-mounted thermostatically controlled convector radiator and new coal-effect remote controlled electric fire.

Outside

The new double-glazed French doors open onto your covered South-East facing private terrace for morning breakfast in the Sun and afternoon or evening Bar-B-Q's at your private picnic table in the garden. 
This terrace has just been fitted with a new wind-out canopy which can be opened to cover your picnic area.

Bathroom

Newly refurbished for 2020 season, white bathroom suite comprises a walk-in shower cubicle, pedestal wash basin with mirror, and close-coupled w.c.  and heated towel rail.

Double Bedroom

The double bedroom offers full-size double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables  lamps and river views. There is also a 19" Freeview TV / DVD and wicker chair.

Twin Bedroom

The twin room has a river view. It has 2 x full size single beds for adults or children, with new mattresses and  bedside table  lamp.  There is a wardrobe and chest of drawers. Wall-mounted dressing shelf / drawers with mirror. 22" TV / DVD for 2020 season.
