Restaurants and take-aways in Wroxham, eating, restaurants, pubs

Take-away

There is a wide variety of take-away restaurants on the High St in the centre of Wroxham just 500 yds away from the cottage.  This includes fish & chips, Indian, and a McDonalds in Roys.  But, hey, why not visit our own on-site Bistro and Brewery Tap, where you can order your take-away to eat with a range of 50 Real Ales, without needing to take the car!

Cafes and Bars

There are many cafes in the centre of Wroxham just 500yds from the cottage.  The closest of these is the Wherryman’s which you arrive at just before you cross the bridge. A very apt name for your cottage “Wherry” and it is a restaurant and pizzeria. Cheap snacks, all-day breakfasts, or just have a coffee by the river, and take a day boat from right outside.

Pubs & Restaurants

There are a few pubs that serve excellent meals.  The Kings Head has a full menu, and carvery every day that you can eat in the bar, restaurant or riverside gardens.  It normally offers 2 carvery meals for £10, and also has a special over 60’s Diamond Club offer  Just 1½ miles away is the picturesque village of Horning with The Swan, and the New Inn and the Ferry Inn.
